Antea Group Spain in consortium with Applus has been awarded the service contract for the drafting of projects and project management of the works for the improvement of energy efficiency in the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union - Next Generation EU, of various National Heritage buildings: Royal Palace of Madrid, Hermitage of San Antonio of the Florida and Flower House of the Royal Site of The Farm of San Ildefonso.

The work to be carried out by Antea Group Spain consists of drafting projects to improve the energy efficiency of buildings, increasing the energy rating and reducing energy consumption, through the analysis and energy audit of each building, with a total surface area of more than 4.000 m².

Existing problems will be identified and individualized and specific actions will be planned for each building in relation to the thermal envelope, the thermal production installations and the electricity and lighting installations, which will promote an increase in the thermal well-being and comfort of the users.

Framed within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan in Component 11 Investment 4 for the modernization of the buildings of the General State Administration, these projects meet the objectives of improving the energy rating and basic energy saving requirements of existing buildings, as well as achieving a reduction of more than 30% in primary energy consumption.
