We have continued our progress towards sustainability by calculating our carbon footprint and committing to actions to reduce it.
Spain.
On its path towards sustainability, Antea Group Spain has completed the process of verification of its carbon footprint and registration in the 'Registry of Carbon Footprint, Offsets and CO2 Absorption Projects', established by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (Miteco).
This voluntary registration is a recognition of our commitment to decarbonization and sustainable practices that reflects the effort in mitigating the effects of climate change, aligned with Antea Group's corporate sustainability strategy.
A company's carbon footprint is an environmental indicator that reflects the total greenhouse gases (GHG) emitted into the atmosphere as a direct or indirect effect of its activities.
The registration of this footprint demonstrates the commitment to transparency and accountability in environmental matters, is a tool to take concrete measures to reduce emissions, and allows us to identify areas for improvement and promote more sustainable practices within the organization.
