The contracted works consist of improving the accessibility and connectivity of public transport stops to favor the implementation of low-emission zones in the cities of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Ferrol and Lugo.

The work to be carried out by the Antea Group Spain team will be executed on a total of 766 bus stops with the aim of improving accessibility, visibility and road safety for users.
Prior to the drafting of the projects, field inventories will be carried out at each of the locations where an initial assessment of the actions to be carried out will be made.
In the drafting of the projects, attention will be paid to the following guidelines: location of public transport stops in an optimal location from the point of view of accessibility and connectivity, provision of a suitable geometry together with a correct location or relocation and refurbishment of the bus shelter, improvement of accessibility conditions with the location of accessible routes, improvement of the connectivity of the stopping points giving continuity to the existing pedestrian routes, revision and updating of the vertical and horizontal signposting.
