The digital viewer will provide information on traffic, accident rates and other data of interest on the Galician road network.
Galicia (Spain).
The Xunta de Galicia is finalizing the development and implementation of a digital viewer of the road network of the autonomous community of Galicia (Raega), the first tool of its kind that will provide data on daily traffic, accident rates, general condition of the infrastructure and other relevant information for both the management of the network itself and its users.
The new digital tool will incorporate the geographic representation of the results of the traffic gauging carried out on the road network of the autonomous community of Galicia during the years 2022 and 2023, work carried out by Antea Group Spain.
The objective is to provide detailed information such as the average daily intensity of vehicles circulating on the road network, differentiating between light and heavy traffic, and the location of the gauging stations, fixed or mobile devices that are implemented on the roads in order to count the vehicles passing through a particular point and to differentiate their type and the average speed at which they circulate.
Antea Group Spain thanks the Xunta de Galicia for the trust placed in its team for the improvement of mobility and road safety.
