The execution works will take 29 months and involve an investment of 37,8 million euros.

A Coruña (Spain).

Antea Group Spain has been awarded the contract for the control and supervision services for the construction of the new intermodal station in the city of A Coruña.

The infrastructure will be developed on a plot of 21.000 square meters and will be divided into two levels: on the upper level will be the station itself, with the passenger building and the dock area, as well as the pedestrian walkway to the railroad avenue; and on the lower level will be the parking lot, the pedestrian communication area with the station and the regulation docks.

The station building will have 2,500 square meters, distributed in three levels. The top floor will be restricted to authorized personnel and will house the facilities and technical rooms. On the first floor, the lobby will provide access to a circulation and waiting area, with a longitudinal development around which the cafeteria, ticket offices, toilets, security room, check-in and other private offices will be located.

In the intermediate level will be located the dock area, so that buses and not passengers on foot will circulate under the terminal to enter and exit. The station will have 20 operating docks and a parking regulation area with more than 20 parking spaces.

The parking lot will have 325 parking spaces.

The control and supervision of the works will be carried out by the Antea Group Spain - Gocsa joint venture and its execution is part of the agreement between the Xunta, the A Coruña City Council and the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, through Adif, for the execution of the bus terminal, the passenger parking lot and the common elements for the construction of the A Coruña intermodal complex.
