The new facilities will improve the working conditions of the assigned professionals.

Last Friday, April 22, the inauguration of the new police station in Ribeira was held at a ceremony attended by the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, and the Regional Minister of Social Policy, Fabiola García, among other authorities.
The new facilities, located in the avenue of the Airós, in the place of Fontán, will cover the whole region of Barbanza. After the construction works, directed by Antea Group, the National Police in Ribeira will have more spacious and luminous offices and its new facilities will facilitate the work of the professionals assigned to the Ribeira staff.
The building has a total of 2.400 m2 and is distributed over four floors: basement, ground floor and two floors. The main uses and spaces are: parking, facilities area, detainee area, shooting gallery, gymnasium and changing rooms, administrative and public services, documentation offices and complaints office, operational area, police headquarters area and general archives.
