The Port of Vigo will invest 1,48 million euros in this project.

Vigo, Pontevedra (Spain).

Antea Group Spain, in consortium with GOC, S.A., supervise the construction works of the radiological inspection facilities at the Guixar terminal of the Port of Vigo, which continue at a good pace.

The construction project for the facility, drawn up by the Antea Group Spain - GOC, S.A. Consortium, defines a main industrial building made of concrete with thick walls to contain the radiological inspection equipment it will house. With dimensions of 40 x 15 m wide and a wall height of up to 9 m, it will house state-of-the-art inspection scanners with both horizontal and vertical scanning. Outside the building there will be facilities for the Tax Agency staff to carry out their control and administrative tasks.

The construction of this new infrastructure includes the execution of a photovoltaic self-consumption installation with a power of 55.55 kWp.

The works management works are currently in their initial phase, advancing in the diversion of affected services in the area, foundations and lateral walls.

The Port of Vigo will invest 1,48 million euros in this development with a completion period of 8 months, so that the infrastructure could be in service at the beginning of next year.
