Montevideo (Uruguay).

Antea Group Uruguay, in collaboration with the Spanish Road Association, has been contracted to develop a methodology to assess the environmental, social and economic sustainability of Uruguay's infrastructure.

The purpose of this initiative is motivated by the existing infrastructure gap in the Americas and the Caribbean region, and aims to improve the resilience, and therefore the efficiency of investments in public infrastructure. The project follows the guidelines set out in the National Adaptation Plan for Cities and Infrastructure submitted by Uruguay to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2021.

The experience of Antea Group and its associates in sustainability analysis through the application of internationally recognized standards has enabled the company to position itself as the highest quality proposal presented to the client.

With this award, Antea Group reinforces its commitment to environmental protection at all stages of the infrastructure life cycle.
