The previous electrical capacity of the installation has been increased to 15.000 kW, leaving 10.000kW available for future expansions of recharging points.
Madrid (Spain).
The Technical Assistance and Project Management works carried out by the Antea Group Spain - Gesnaer Consulting joint venture for the execution of the infrastructure works for 52 electric bus recharging points in the Operations Center of the Madrid Municipal Transport Company (EMT) in Carabanchel have been completed.
The installation required an increase in power of a total of 15.000 KW, for which two new 7.500 kW subway medium voltage lines were laid, which, from the Antonio Leyva Substation and the Aguacate Substation, will supply the power required in the maneuvering and distribution centers, as well as the transformation centers to be located in the Carabanchel Operations Center.
For the installation of the 52 100kW recharging points, it was necessary to build a 105 meter long canopy with a three-dimensional structure of laminated steel profiles. The surface of this canopy has been used to install a photovoltaic installation on its roof that will partially power the chargers.
Antea Group Spain continues with its commitment to sustainability in transport and this collaboration with the Municipal Transport Company of Madrid, adds to the Project Management Technical Assistance that we have been developing for Spanish Airports and Air Navigation (AENA).
