This urban highway will connect the Chamapa-La Venta highway with the Toluca-Naucalpan highway, improving mobility in the western part of the State of Mexico.

The Government of the State of Mexico, through the State of Mexico System of Highways, Airports, Related and Auxiliary Services (SAASCAEM) granted the concession of this highway called "Vialidad Poniente" for a period of 30 years, considering the design, construction, operation, maintenance, conservation and exploitation of this axis that will serve as an interconnection, through two junctions, between the parallel or lateral roadway to the Chamapa-La Venta highway and the Toluca-Naucalpan highway.

The new connection, approximately two kilometers long, will be built with two separate bodies, each with two lanes in each direction, using rigid hydraulic concrete pavement. In addition, access control systems will be implemented with electronic toll payment and ITS equipment that will be monitored from the highway's operations control center.

Antea Group Mexico is currently performing the role of Independent Technical Advisor, providing technical and administrative follow-up services for Banorte Financial Group, the entity that is providing the necessary financing for the development of this project, reinforcing its experience in the field of consulting and comprehensive technical advice in infrastructure.
